Chinhoyi University of Technology Bachelor Of Science Honours Degree In Environmental Health
About
The increasing challenge to the Environment and Health from global warming, and the emergence of ‘new’ pathogens calls for a special kind of environmental scientist, the Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP). One peculiar aspect about the practice of an EHP is that it involves working with and for people to improve their health. The demands for the professional skills of an EHP are rising as people become more concerned about their own personal health and the ‘health’ of the environment. The current education system therefore needs to respond by producing highly qualified practitioners with a broad scientific and professional knowledge base and a sound understanding of environmental health issues.
