Welcome to the School of Hospitality and Tourism (SCHOTO) at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). I have the pleasure to introduce you to the ONLY University in the region with two state-of-the-art hotels which operate as teaching laboratories to give our students a practical business and technological orientation. At CUT SCHOTO we emphasise on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship among students and staff, thus we teach for industrialisation and wealth creation.

We are determined to make sure that our graduates do not roam the streets but are enterprising and self reliant. At present the School has two undergraduate programmes; BSc Honours Degree in Travel, Leisure and Recreation and BSc Honours Degree in Hospitality and Tourism and one taught Postgraduate Degree; MSc Degree in Hospitality and Tourism.

The three programs are Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education (ZIMCHE) accredited and internationally recognised. To date CUT SCHOTO graduates have traversed the globe and are in senior positions in the hospitality and tourism industry in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, United Arab Emirates, Canada, the USA and many other countries.

There is no other University in Zimbabwe and the region that gives you an opportunity to pursue your dreams than CUT.
