You may qualify for one of these discounts

SIBLING BURSARY

If your brother or sister is studying at IIE MSA, each sibling is eligible for a 5% bursary based on their tuition fees. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any travelling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.

Eligibility:

  • Share the same parents or single parent.
  • Both siblings have registered for a full load in the same semester.
  • IIE MSA account should be in financial good standing (i.e. all fees for the semester should be settled on or before the published payment due date).
  • Pay tuition fees on/before published fees due dates.
  • Apply for the discount.

To apply:

  • Complete the Application form (pdf).
  • Include proof that you are brothers and sisters (original certified copies of your birth certificates and parents’ identification).
  • Submit your application upon Registration

Withdrawing from your course

If you withdraw from your course you may have to repay the financial award.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD HEAD PREFECT

The total value of the award:

If you have played a crucial role by being a school head prefect in your previous secondary school, you will be eligible for an R6 000 bursary on your 2023 enrolment. This award is to recognize the importance of leadership skills pursued by the student. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any travelling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.

Eligibility:

  • Register for a full-time undergraduate course.
  • Register for a full load as per the course structure.
  • IIE MSA account must be in financial good standing.
  • Must be self-sponsored.
  • Apply for the bursary.
  • Only for commencing students (new students).

The total value of the award:

If you have played a crucial role by being a school deputy head prefect in your previous secondary school, you will be eligible for an R3 500 bursary on your 2023 enrolment. This award is to recognize the importance of leadership skills pursued by the student. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any travelling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.

  • Register for a full-time undergraduate course.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD CURRENT STUDENT

The total value of the award:

This award is offered to IIE MSA current students, to encourage and reward academic excellence in their previous studies. Current students with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75% and above, will be eligible for an R4 000 bursary on your 2023 enrolment. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any travelling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
