- All students in the Department also take Educational Foundations as well as Professional Development courses offered in the Theory of Education and Teaching Practice Departments respectively
- All students take Educational Media and Technology courses offered in the computer studies department.

- All students do one term of attachment Teaching Practice with an A Level class in their subject of specialisation
