Notes:
The examination of the N6/N3 and N5/N2 cohorts will overlap with seven days.
Having to comply with the 1/3 principle it is proposed that extra exam sites be created for the full duration for the N5/N2 cohort. This is necessary to cope with logistical issues such as packing and distribution of question papers. It further enhance security measures of distribution of papers to additional sites.

Notes:
∙To fit in the 2nd semester will result in taking the academic year beyond January .
∙The Business Studies cohort lost 41 days of teaching and learning
∙To adequately cover the syllabus the group needs 80 days of Teaching and Learning. Therefore, there will not be sufficient days to cater for the semester 2 in .
∙To adhere to quality assurance principles it is recommended not to make changes to the curriculum as the programme will result in a NND (NQF 6: 160 credits). Therefore the notional time of the programmes cannot be compromised.
