Registration dates
Online Registration Dates : Beat the queue and register online from home. Below are the dates that online registration opens and closes on the student self-service portal. You can register at home using the online self-service portal during these times. Returning and postgraduate students in the Health Sciences, Education and Management schools have different dates – please consult directly with your Faculty office.

  • New first year students in Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment Faculty: 10 January to 14 January
  • New first year students in Faculty of Science: 10 January to 15 January
  • New first year students in Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management: 10 January to 16 January
  • New first year students in Faculty of Humanities (excluding School of Education): 10 January to 17 January
  • New first year students in School of Education: 10 January to 20 January
  • Returning undergraduate and all postgraduate students in Faculty of Science: 3 January to 27 January
  • Returning undergraduate and all postgraduate students in Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management: 3 January to 28 January
  • Returning undergraduate and all postgraduate students in Faculty of Humanities (excluding School of Education): 10 January to 30 January
  • Returning undergraduate students of Engineering and Built Environment Faculty: 3 January to 29 January

Each faculty has specific days when they are available for Assisted Registration on campus as reflected in the table below. Returning and postgraduate students for the School of Education and the Faculty of Health Sciences should contact their school / faculty for more information on their dates and locations for registration.
