University of Zimbabwe Accepted Student List 2023 – 2023
The University of Zimbabwe wishes to advise applicants for the August 2019 intake that selections are complete and the full list of names of successful applicants is attached herewith. Successful applicants should take note of the following important information:
1. Fees

First year students should pay a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 as a commitment fee and confirmation of acceptance of the offer.

The non-refundable deposit should be credited to the student’s account and shall be added to the student’s first semester fees upon registration.

Students are given three months up to 28 June 2019 to pay the non-refundable deposit. After the payment of the deposit , the student can have the option to clear their fees at once or follow a University approved payment plan.

First year students who would not have paid the non-refundable deposit and completed the registration exercise in time will forfeit their places to applicants on the waiting list.

The University does not reserve places for first year students who are not registered within the 3 months allowable period. Offer letters are available at Admissions Office.
Successful applicants must visit www.emhare.uz.ac.zw for online registration after payment of fees. Applicants must use their registration numbers as username and surname in CAPITAL LETTERS as the password for the purposes of online registration. 2. Banking Details
Fees must be deposited at any Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ) branch nationwide using the bank account details shown below. Please quote the correct student registration number when you process the deposit.

3. Accommodation
Limited on campus accommodation will be available on a first come first served basis. Accommodation arrangements and the fees thereof will be advised in due course.
NB: August 2019 marks the start of a new academic year for UZ. Payment for accommodation will therefore only be made after completion of registration, online application for accommodation and confirmation of offer of residence.
4. For all incoming Part I College of Health Sciences:
“During registration, all College of Health Sciences incoming students should bring proof of recent vaccination certificate against Hepatitis B”.
For MBChB and BDS Part I students:
“MBChB and BDS incoming students should register with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe before the commencement of 1stSemester. The registration forms will be issued in the College of Health Sciences, Main Campus office during the registration period.”
5. Important Dates
Registration: OPEN UNTIL 28th June 2019
Compulsory Orientation: 22-25 August 2019 STARTING AT 8:30AM IN THE GREAT HALL
Lectures commence: 26 August 2019
