ABOUT VVOB
VVOB Online Courses | VVOB – education for development is an international non-profit organization aiming to improve the quality of education in the Global South and in Belgium, with over 35 years of experience in quality education. Through capacity development, VVOB provides support to ministries of education in Africa, Asia, and South America to improve (initial) professional development of teachers and school leaders in early childhood, primary, general secondary, and technical and vocational education. Through capacity development trajectories, VVOB in South Africa gives local partners maximal expertise and ownership in the execution and management of their own change processes. They are supported with technical assistance by our South Africa team, which includes both local and international educational and change management experts.

VVOB Online course consists of 15 courses and they are as follows:

A guide for school-based mentors: There are 9 nine lessons on this course and at the end, you will receive a certificate for completing the course and you can earn SACE CPTD points (type 1). Click this link for more details
Basic PLC course: There are 7 lessons under this course, Basic PLC course. The course takes 1,5 to 2 hours to complete, with a written assignment at the end of each module. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate. Click this link for more details
Induction for new teachers: there are 8 lessons in this course. You will complete a portfolio of evidence as part of going through this induction. You can earn SACE CPTD points (type 1). Click this link for more details
Leading a gender-responsive school for young children: There are 5 lesson under this course. see details via this link. This course is endorsed by SACE. You can earn 15 SACE CPTD points (type 3) for this course.
