Please note that the duties and responsibilities of a Lecture/ Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor and Professor are grouped into 3 main categories which are:
- Teaching-the incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
- Community and University Services-the incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conference and seminars, among others
- Research-the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University through publications.
1-FACULTY OF AGRI-BUSINESS AND COMMERCE
DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
POST: LECTURER/ SENIOR LECTURER/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ PROFESSOR (2 POST)
Qualifications
- BCom Tourism and Hospitality Management (Hons) Degree or equivalent
- MCom Tourism and Hospitality
- Must be a registered PhD/Dphil candidate
- A Doctorate is an added advantage

- Sustainable Tourism Management
- Food and Beverage Management
- Principles of Tourism Marketing
- Tourism Operations Management
DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING
POST: LECTURER/ SENIOR LECTURER/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ PROFESSOR (2 POST)
Qualifications
- BCom Accounting (Hons) Degree or equivalent
- MCom Accounting
- Must be a registered with a professional accounting body/ institute
- A Doctorate is an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to supervise students’ dissertations and teach at least three modules from the following areas
- Accounting Reporting
- Tax law and Practice
- Company Law and Financial Reporting
- Cost Accounting and control
