Programme Overview

The Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry is a two year degree programme offered on both block release and full time options. The programme consists of specialized taught courses and research projects. The taught courses cover the following areas of analytical chemistry; classical methods of analysis, electroanalytical methods, separation sciences (gas and liquid chromatographic techniques, electrophoretic methods), atomic and molecular spectroscopic methods, physical methods of characterization and application of statistical methods in analytical chemistry.  These courses equip the graduate with a much deeper understanding of most important aspects of analytical chemistry. The research projects or dissertation develops the graduate’s research skills which are in demand in industry, research institutions and universities.
