Christian Reformed Theological Seminary Courses
The CRTS offers a fully accredited BTh degree and an accredited Diploma in Pastoral Theology. We also offer informal courses for the personal enrichment of lay preachers, ministry leaders and church members.
The Timothy Academy was born from the need to provide Bible centred, fundamental, informal and tertiary theological training for lay preachers as well as church members. The material is suitable to be used across a spectrum of cultural contexts, for example, the African rural context. The Timothy Academy focuses on discipleship and the spiritual growth of the student and also on Bible-centred theological training to enable the student to serve in their congregation and immediate community. The Timothy Academy can fruitfully be implemented in any ministry for the development of leaders. It can also serve as a bridge between church membership and formal theological training.
