About us
The School has an excellent reputation both locally and internationally as one of the leaders in African scholarship on issues such as sustainability, climate change, urban social and environmental justice, tourism and development. We lead in rock art studies, Paleoarchaeology, the Stone Age, pre-colonial farming and herding societies and the formation of modern cultural identities in the last five hundred years. The School also runs a world class museum called the Origins Centre.
