BHC School of Design Accommodation
ACCOMMODATION
Located on the top floor of the BHC campus are 3 self-contained flats – 1 three-bedroom and 2 two-bedroom flats. The flats all contain a living area, bedrooms, bathroom and kitchenette – equipped with fridge, hotplate and microwave. The flats are fully furnished and tenants only need to supply their own linen and towels.
Rental for the accommodation includes water and armed response and each unit is individually metered for electricity. Please contact the registrar for information regarding rates for 2023.
TRANSPORT
Golden Arrow buses stop one block away in Victoria Road and the MyCiti bus stops one block away on Salt River Road. The nearest train station is Salt River Road. There is secure, remote control accessed parking on campus for the tenants overnight and on weekends.
SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Victoria Road is a bustling main road, one block away, with a fishmonger, greengrocer, pharmacy, hardware stores, banks and much more. Less than a kilometre down the main road is a Pick ‘n Pay shopping centre, located next to Groote Schuur Hospital. There are two medical practices and a dentist in close proximity.
