  1. Enrolment Fees:

    1. non-refundable administration fee of R 500 is payable on application.
    2. An enrolment payment equal to one term’s fees (tuition fees or tuition and boarding) is payable on acceptance.
    3. Two-thirds of the enrolment payment is refundable 3 months after the scholar leaves Woodridge, provided the required notice is given, free of interest and may not to be offset against any fees due to Woodridge. No interest will accrue or be payable on the refundable portion.
    4. One-third of the enrolment payment is a non-refundable facilities development levy which shall be utilised for operational requirements at the sole discretion of The Woodridge Trust.
    5. In the case of new entrants in Grades 11 and 12, the enrolment fees listed in 1.2 to 1.4 will be pro-rated.
    6. Prior to the commencement of Grades 4 and 8, a top-up payment is required for all pupils to meet the relevant grade’s enrolment fees.
  2. Conversion between day scholar and boarding:

    1. A top-up of the term’s refundable and non-refundable enrolment fee is necessary for conversion from day scholar to boarding.
    2. A border converting to a day scholar is eligible for a refund to reduce their refundable enrolment fee to that of the relevant grade’s current refundable amount.
  3. Notice period on termination of the contract:

A term’s notice is required before removing a scholar or changing a scholar’s enrolment status. If the required notice is not given, a term’s fee in lieu of notice will be payable and charged to the scholar’s account.

  4. Sibling discounts:

For tuition and boarding fees only, a sibling rebate of 10% for the second child and 15% for the third and additional children is offered.

  5. Fees and other costs/expenses:

Fees are payable annually, termly or, for South African Residents only, monthly.

    1. The preferred billing period must be elected on the Payment Options form. Changes during the school year will attract an administration fee.
    2. Annual and termly payments may be made by debit order, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or, if in cash, deposited directly into the school’s bank account at a Standard Bank branch. For security reasons, cash payments on account will not be accepted on campus by our Finance staff. Bank charges incurred by cash or foreign payments will be debited to the scholar’s account.
    3. Monthly payments available to South African residents (over 10 months from January, or 8 months from January for Grade 12) attract a charge of 5% per annum, included in the monthly rates above.
    4. Other expenses must be paid at the time the expense arises or as arranged with the Finance Department. In the interest of the security of our campus, you are urged to make any payments at the school shops via electronic means.
  6. Overdue accounts:

Interest will be levied at 2% per month on the total of any arrears each month. For overdue accounts, additional collection fees and conditions will be applied as per our Debtors Policy, a copy of which is available, on request, from our Finance Department.

  7. Scholar Accident Insurance:

All scholars are covered by a compulsory Scholars Accident Insurance and Emergency Rescue policy, the annual fee for which will be charged to the scholar’s account.
